FAQ
What else do nurses ask about the checklist?
Who is the Ontario nursing licence checklist for?
Nurses educated outside Canada who want to register with the College of Nurses of Ontario as a Registered Nurse or a Registered Practical Nurse. The checklist's first table shows which licence a B.Sc. Nursing, a Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing or a GNM diploma leads to. Applying in another province? The steps differ there, so start with the Focused Nursing Prep Classes guide to nursing in Canada, province by province.
Is the Ontario nursing licence checklist up to date?
Every line comes from the Ontario and India licensing guides on focusnursing.com, and the footer of each page shows the date it was checked. The fees are the 2026 fees, with the changes CNO and NCSBN have already announced for 2027 beside them. The PDF keeps one address, so the link in your email always opens the latest version.
Do I have to join a class to get the free checklist?
No. The Ontario nursing licence checklist is free and there is no obligation. The live NCLEX-RN and REx-PN classes with Mandeep Dhaliwal, RN, are separate, if you want help with the exam.
Why does the checklist form ask for a WhatsApp number?
So the Focused Nursing Prep Classes team can reach you on WhatsApp if you have a question about your own file. Text messages are separate and optional: you get them only if you tick a box on the form. The privacy policy at focusnursing.com explains how your details are used.
Can I read the steps online instead?
Yes. The checklist follows two free guides on this site: how to become a nurse in Ontario, which explains each step, and nursing in Canada from India, with the documents from India and writing the NCLEX there.
