Our guides explain the licensing process and the NCLEX in plain language, with links to the official sources. They are general information, not legal or immigration advice. Fees and rules are set by the College of Nurses of Ontario, NNAS and NCSBN and can change: always confirm on their websites before you apply or pay.
No guaranteed result
Our classes prepare you for the exam. Whether you pass depends on your own preparation and performance on the day, so we do not guarantee a result.
Enrolment and payment
To enrol, you fill in our registration form, and the details you give must be true and correct. Your seat in a batch is confirmed when your payment is received.
- Fees are in Canadian dollars. When you register, we send you an invoice that you pay online through Stripe, by card or, if you are in Canada, in instalments with Klarna or Afterpay. Klarna and Afterpay are available to buyers in Canada only; they pay us the full fee, and their own terms apply to your instalments.
- If you cannot pay by card, contact us and we will tell you about other ways to pay.
Refund policy
Course fees are non-refundable. You agree to this when you register.
- If we cancel or reschedule a batch, you can move to another batch or receive a full refund.
- Moving to a later batch at your request is at our discretion. Ask us and we will tell you what is possible.

Fee validity and re-joining classes
Your fee for the 12-Week Comprehensive Review Program is valid for 1 year from the start of your batch. If you write your exam within that year and do not pass, you can join the live Zoom classes again at no extra cost until the year ends.
Class recordings, workbooks and materials
- Every class is recorded. Recordings are a backup if you miss a class or want to hear it again, and we recommend joining live.
- Recordings are shared only with the email address on your registration, and only you may use that access.
- Workbooks are sent one at a time as the class moves through the syllabus. Please print each one before its class.
- Recordings, workbooks and other class materials are for your own study while you are enrolled. Please do not share, sell or publish them. We may remove access for anyone who does.
Conduct
Treat the teacher and classmates with respect. We may remove anyone who disrupts classes or harasses others, without a refund.
Liability
We work to keep the site accurate and the classes running, but we are not liable for losses caused by relying on general information on this site, by exam outcomes, or by delays at the regulator or exam provider.
Text messages
If you agree to receive texts from Focused Nursing Prep Classes, for example by ticking a box on the form or through the chat on this site, we send messages about your enquiry, your call, new batches and offers, class reminders and payments. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase. Reply STOP to stop at any time, and we will send one text to confirm. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at team@focusnursing.com or +1 (519) 617-6776. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your number.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
