My story

My journey began in India. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the College of Nursing, Christian Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana, and worked there as an RN for 2 years.

In Canada I had to rebuild my career: new systems, new expectations and new exams. I completed a post-graduate certificate in Critical Care Nursing at Niagara College, then worked my way up from CCA to RPN to RN.

I've been a bedside nurse, a charge nurse and an educator, in acute, critical, cardiac, long-term, palliative and community care, and in mental health. When I teach, I show you how these situations unfold on a real unit and how a safe nurse thinks them through.

I started Focused Nursing Prep Classes in 2023 because I've been where you are: years of experience, and still unsure in front of a Canadian licensing exam. I know many of you are balancing work, family and money too, and some of you have tried before. Your nursing knowledge counts. I'll be your coach, your mentor and your biggest cheerleader until the day you see that PASS.
